This is a Sheaffer's Utility mechanical pencil referred to as "Pearlies" by collectors for the pearl celluloid portion, often used for an advertising screen print. This one has a "Fineline" clip and no logo and is in overall very clean condition. Very neat historical pencil made in Fort Madison, IA by writing instrument giant, Sheaffer. The twist propel end is working properly though it lacks lead. New "Legendary Pencil Co." leads and erasers can still be sourced for these vintage writing instruments making them reliable daily writers.
