Vintage 1930s-40s Eversharp “Square 4” dark brown un-patterned celluloid pencil

For sale is a vintage Eversharp "Square 4" mechanical pencil from the late 1930s to the 1940s. It features a nice dark reddish-brown colored celluloid with chrome-filled colored trim. There are no significant signs of damage to the barrel, and the trim is slightly worn as shown, but overall it is in very good condition. The pencil has been tested with lead that was present, the mechanism does function properly and advance lead as designed. Additional period-correct Vintage "Legendary Pencil Co." leads can still be sourced for this pencil. Nice vintage writing instrument!
