The Stacked Coin cap detail appeared on Vacumatic Pens and Mechanical Pencil sets from 1937 to 1941. Some of these caps also appeared on few Dou-folds from what we have read online. Rotating the barrel extends and retracts the lead. When looking under the erasure it has five sticks of additional lead. We compared it to leads we had available and it was closest to being a 0.9mm size. The clip is still stiff and does not appear to be bent. We looked over the barrel and did not find any cracks. The pen has typical wear from use with light scratches throughout. Please study photos as they are part of the description.
