A lovely antique mechanical pencil by Wahl Eversharp, gold filled and made in Canada — dating to approximately the 1920s. The pencil measures 4 inches and features an elegantly engine-turned barrel, an ornate repousse cap with leaf and scroll detailing, and a suspension ring for chatelaine wear. The original black silk braided chatelaine cord is included. Lead tip is present and intact; functionality not guaranteed. Barrel shows wear and patina consistent with age, with some loss to the gold fill on the lower portion. Cap detail remains crisp.
