Sterling silver thick lead stock-marking pencil by Spaulding & Co. Designed for the well-appointed Lady or Gentleman working in the retail stockroom in the early 20th century. Lead diameter is just under 1/4" wide (about 5.6mm). It is loaded with a red crayon-type lead. Excellent condition with no dings or dents, even on the crown. Twist mechanism propels and retracts the lead. A very unusual piece, highly desirable. Secure packaging, quick shipping.
