VINTAGE OCTAGONAL MECHANICAL PENCIL (AUTOPOINT) ADVERTISING FOR “TEXAS SASH & DOOR CO.-FORT WORTH, TEXAS” This is a striking octagonal Autopoint stone-patterned 1960s mechanical pencil advertising for TEXAS SASH & DOOR CO.-FORT WORTH, TEXAS in Fort Worth, Texas. Imprinted on the pencil’s pocket clip are Autopoint in script and PAT’D MADE IN U.S.A. This fine Autopoint pencil comes with five (5) additional original lead sticks in the upper storage chamber and one (1) loaded in the writing point barrel. The white material on the lead surfaces is a thin wax coating that is applied for moisture absorption protection as well as allowing smooth operation in the point barrel. Perfect for a collector.
