This Vintage c1937 Sheaffer Balance Mechanical Pencil with its Beautiful Stylistic Torpedo Shape is an Outstanding Example of the Quality and Craftsmanship associated with the Sheaffer Pen Company of the early 20th century and as a result these Vintage Pencils in this condition have become increasingly harder to find and much more rare and collectable. This Extremely Clean Sheaffer Standard Size Mechanical Pencil is in Excellent Vintage Working Condition with very minimal signs of wear, has no breaks, cracks or major scratches on barrel or clip but does have a small scratch on the cone (see photos). This Mechanical Pencil uses 1.1mm Lead and Features a Twist feed Mechanism, a Marine Green Striated Celluloid Barrel and a Gold Filled Pocket Clip and Cone. It measures approx 5 3/16 inches long and approx 3/8 inch in diameter. This item was acquired through an estate sale, is as I acquired it and is being sold as is.
