Vintage circa 1920s Conklin Black Celluloid Mechanical Pencil – working

For sale is a vintage Conklin mechanical pencil. It features a jet black celluloid finish with nickel / steel trim. It is in very good condition for its age. I cannot find information on this exact model, not a typical clip for a Conklin. The pencil has been tested and the twist mechanism does function properly, though no leads are present. Period-correct Vintage "Legendary Pencil Co." leads can still be sourced for this pencil in a variety of colors and hardness grades. Nice classic writing instrument!
