Vintage Sheaffer Balance Oversized Grey Striped celluloid pencil from the 1920s. Slight wear to the clip visible in the photo, otherwise very good condition for its age. Vintage "Legendary Pencil Co." leads can still be sourced for these. The pencil has the correct imprint, though it may be difficult to see in the photograph. The color is great on this pen with no signs of celluloid deterioration. It has been tested and the mechanism works, though the back portion slips instead of engaging the mechanism. Nice very large vintage writing instrument.
